We are proud to celebrate an inspiring achievement by RGBSI’s President & CIO, Ravi Kumar. On April 21, 2025, he successfully completed the 129th Boston Marathon while fundraising for a cause that impacts millions: cancer research through the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge (DFMC).
In a remarkable demonstration of commitment and generosity, Ravi raised $15.5K for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge. His efforts earned him the distinguished title of Pacesetter; an honor awarded to participants who raise $13.1K or more. This elite group of runners helps drive the DFMC’s fundraising impact, which collectively brought in millions of dollars in support of cancer research. Pacesetters show what it means to go above and beyond in defying cancer.
RGBSI proudly supported this meaningful event by making a direct donation in support of Ravi’s efforts and Dana-Farber’s mission.

Each year, hundreds of runners join the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team, running the Boston Marathon to raise critical funds for cancer research. This year, 500 DFMC teammates ran for this iconic and raised an impressive $7,752,475 to date. What makes DFMC truly exceptional is that 100% of every dollar raised supports the Claudia Adams Barr Program in Innovative Basic Cancer Research at Dana-Farber. These funds are driving some of today's most promising breakthroughs, moving us closer to a world without cancer.
