At RGBSI, we were committed to making a positive impact on our community, and in June 2024, we were thrilled to host a clothing drive for Purple Heart. Running from June 1st to June 18th, this initiative aimed to support veterans and their families by providing them with essential clothing.
The Purple Heart Foundation, well-known for its service to veterans, helps those who have served our country. Its programs range from providing emergency financial assistance to helping veterans transition to civilian life. Supporting them through our clothing drive aligned perfectly with our values of service and community support.
Our clothing drive was in full swing, and we collected gently used and new clothing items among our employees. The drive was a true team effort, with our employees and community members coming together to contribute. We gathered contributions including:
- Coats and jackets
- Professional attire
- Casual wear
- Shoes and accessories
- Household items
The drive continued through June 18th, so there was still plenty of time to donate. While our focus at that time was on this clothing drive, our commitment to supporting Purple Heart and other charitable causes extended well beyond those dates. Every contribution made a difference in the lives of veterans and their families. For those who hadn’t yet participated, we encouraged them to join us. Every item counted and helped us make a tangible difference.
