Rapid Global Business Solutions, Inc. and Kongu Engineering College - Perundurai have signed an Memorandum of Understanding for a Center of Excellence in Manufacturing Quality Lifecycle Management. Present at the event were RGBSI President and CEO Dr. Nanua Singh and Kongu Engineering College authorities P.C. Palanisamy, V.K. Muthusamy and Principal S. Kuppusamy. This is the first MoU of its kind in the state.
The partnership was solidified at an event at the college where Dr. Singh, a former IIT Delhi professor, shared global case studies with college officials and students. He said, "I am determined to change these initiatives to develop manufacturing quality skills and make young engineers industry-ready."
RGBSI aims to help create an atmosphere at the college where every student has an opportunity to realize their dreams of becoming expert engineers working for respected firms, but also an environment that fosters innovative products and services to the industry. The Center of Excellence in Manufacturing Quality will also provide certification opportunities in areas such as APQP, PPAP and 8Ds, among others.
