There are several events for members of Ford’s WiR to enjoy throughout the year. We had the opportunity partake in the 2017 Piquette Plant Tour and NASCAR at Michigan International Speedway (MIS) events alongside Ford’s WiR group. Ford’s Piquette Plant Tour is a two hour tour about the birthplace of the model T and features antique vehicles on display. The [NASCAR at MIS](https://www.at.ford.com/en/homepage/news-and-clipsheet/news/2017/6/ford-women-in-racing-enjoy-meeting-danica-patrick--nascar-engine.html) event was an opportunity to view the NASCAR XFINITY Series Race from the Ford Garage Suite. **[Click here](https://www.rgbsi.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/2017-WiR-Spring-Summer-Newsletter.pdf)** to view the 2017 WiR Spring Summer Newsletter. ### Photos from Ford’s WiR Events | ![IMG_5430](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_5430.jpg?width=400&name=IMG_5430.jpg) | ![10](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/10.jpg?width=400&name=10.jpg) | | --- | --- | | ![6](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/6.jpg?width=400&name=6.jpg) | ![1](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/1.jpg?width=400&name=1.jpg) | **Tags:** [Community](https://blog.rgbsi.com/tag/community) ##### Share this entry > [mailto:?subject=https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-sponsors-fords-women-in-racing&body=RGBSI%20Sponsors%20Ford’s%20Women%20in%20Racing](mailto:?subject=https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-sponsors-fords-women-in-racing&body=RGBSI%20Sponsors%20Ford’s%20Women%20in%20Racing) ### You might also like [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/129th%20Boston%20Marathon%20-%20-%201200x628-100.jpg?width=60&name=129th%20Boston%20Marathon%20-%20-%201200x628-100.jpg) **Ravi Kumar Completes 129th Boston Marathon for Dana-Farber Cancer Research**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/ravi-kumar-completes-129th-boston-marathon-for-dana-farber) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/RGBSI-HelpAge-India-1200x628-.jpg?width=60&name=RGBSI-HelpAge-India-1200x628-.jpg) **RGBSI Partners with HelpAge India to Restore Eyesight and Transform Lives**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-partners-with-helpage-india-restore-eyesight) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Ravi%2050th%20BMW%20-%201200x628%20-v2.png?width=60&name=Ravi%2050th%20BMW%20-%201200x628%20-v2.png) **Running for Cause: RGBSI’s President & CIO at the 50th Berlin Marathon**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-president-cio-50th-berlin-marathon) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/RGBSI%20Clothing%20Drive%20Purple%20Heart%20-%201200x628.png?width=60&name=RGBSI%20Clothing%20Drive%20Purple%20Heart%20-%201200x628.png) **RGBSI Clothing Drive for Purple Heart**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-clothing-drive-for-purple-heart) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Movember-2021-1200x628.png?width=60&name=Movember-2021-1200x628.png) **RGBSI 3rd Annual Movember Fundraiser for Men’s Health Awareness**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-3rd-annual-movember-fundraiser) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/COVID-19-Relief-India-Fundraser---1200x628.png?width=60&name=COVID-19-Relief-India-Fundraser---1200x628.png) **RGBSI Fundraising for COVID-19 Relief in India**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-fundraising-covid-19-relief-india) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/RGBSI--MOVEMBER2020-1200x628.png?width=60&name=RGBSI--MOVEMBER2020-1200x628.png) **RGBSI Movember Fundraiser: Men’s Mental Health & Suicide Prevention**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-movember-fundraiser-2020) [![](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hs-fs/hubfs/RGBSI-Sponsors-Smith-FTC-1200x628.jpg?width=60&name=RGBSI-Sponsors-Smith-FTC-1200x628.jpg) **RGBSI Sponsors Smith FIRST Tech Challenge Robotics Program**](https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-sponsors-smith-ftc-robotics-program) ### Latest Posts ![RGBSI](https://blog.rgbsi.com/hubfs/RGBSI_July2018/Images/RGBSI-logo-RGB-inverse-small.png) ### Search ### Contact Us - **Phone** +1 248.589.1135 - **Address** 1200 Stephenson Hwy Troy, MI 48083 ### Connect with Us - - - ### Recent Posts RGBSI © Copyright 2025 - [Linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/rgbsi) - [Facebook](http://facebook.com/rgbsi) - [Twitter](http://twitter.com/rgbsi) - [Terms & Conditions](https://www.rgbsi.com/terms-and-conditions/) ```json { "@context" : "https://schema.org", "@type" : "BlogPosting", "author" : { "@type" : "Person", "name" : "Monica Sachdev", "url" : "https://blog.rgbsi.com/author/monica-sachdev" }, "datePublished" : "2017-07-13T14:31:25.000Z", "headline" : "RGBSI Sponsors Ford’s Women in Racing", "image" : [ "https://blog.rgbsi.com/hubfs/IMG_5431-1.jpg" ], "mainEntityOfPage" : { "@id" : "https://blog.rgbsi.com/rgbsi-sponsors-fords-women-in-racing", "@type" : "WebPage" }, "publisher" : { "@type" : "Organization", "logo" : { "@type" : "ImageObject", "url" : "https://blog.rgbsi.com/hubfs/RGBSI%20logo%20RGB-%20no%20clear%20space%20-%20300%20x%20106%20px.png" }, "name" : "RGBSI" } } ```
