RGBSI Named to Inc. 5000 for Fourth Year

August 20, 2013 - For the fourth time, RGBSI has been named to Inc. Magazine's 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies List. The list puts RGBSI at #668, its highest ranking to date.

This is the fourth year that RGBSI has been featured. The company first debuted on the list in 2009 at #4858. It was next featured in 2011 at #2392 and 2012 at #999. In addition to its #670 ranking, RGBSI was also ranked #25 on the Top 100 Human Resources Companies, #7 on the Top 100 Michigan Companies, and #6 in the Detroit Metro Area. This year's list marks the third consecutive year RGBSI has appeared.

Since first debuting in 2009, RGBSI has grown significantly and has been steadily climbing the ranks. Its recent ranking solidifies its position among the best of the best. The company joins the likes of newly ranked growing companies like LivingSocial, OtterBox, Alex and Ani, and KT Tape, and recent alumni like Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Pandora, and Patagonia.

RGBSI continues to find ways to innovate and change the landscape of the staffing and engineering services industry. The Inc. 5000 honor shows not only their increasing presence in the field, but also their potential to continue growing and climbing the ranks of the best businesses in the country. The company has added 663 jobs in the past three years and has a 685% growth in the same amount of time.

The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth over a four-year period. To qualify, companies must be US-based, privately held, and independent. The 2013 Inc. 5000's median company increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, and the average honoree grew a whopping 468 percent. The competition for the 2013 list was fierce, making it an honor to be ranked.

The Inc. Magazine 5000 List has been ranking the fasting growing private companies for 32 years. The list began as the Inc. 500, listing the 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the US, and then was expanded to the Inc. 5000 to give a better sense of the entrepreneurial landscape.
