RGBSI has partnered with Ford Motor Company in support of its philanthropic involvement with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). JDRF is an organization that strives to make worldwide breakthroughs in ending type 1 diabetes (T1D). T1D is a chronic disease in which the pancreas stops producing insulin so a person can’t properly retrieve energy from food intake.
Ford has been a long-time valued partner of JDRF and has strengthened its involvement through the creation of Ford Global Action Team (FGAT) – an employee-driven group that strives to make greater impact for JDRF amongst volunteers, employees, and business partners. RGBSI’s contribution will go towards JDRF’s strategic research to cure, treat, and prevent T1D, as well FGAT’s provision of awareness.
